Roop Kala Kendra

'Roop Kala Kendro', a registered Society under the Government of West Bengal and an Indo-Italian Project has been set up with the objective of production of Social Communication Video cinema and training in the same area. The main objective of Kendro is to interact with the common and marginal people on the reality of their existence, their struggle and triumphs and develop social communication video films from these inputs. These outputs are then taken to people through the broadcast network of televisions and narrow cast network through small groups working in grass route level like NGOs, Panchayats, Women Organisations etc. The focus is not on information, but on the multi layer reality of peoples lives and the output should also have an input of entertainment for the thinking mind.
