A Computer Laboratory was formally inaugurated on 16.10.03. at the top floor of Block 1, Writers' Buildings. This lab will primarily work to update and enrich the bi-lingual G2C portal namely, 'Banglar Mukh' (www.wbgov.com) for and on behalf of different departments of West Bengal Govt besides other allied regular activities which include updating in press releases, publications, short & detail tender notices, government notices, forms etc.

• Until now, total 307 Forms ( like primary application of obtaining ration cards etc.) are uploaded in the portal (English -264 + Bengali 35) from which people can directly apply to concerned authorities after having a downloaded print-outs.

• Until now, the English version of 'Banglar Mukh' has been visited by a number of 33,73,051 and the Bengali part is visited by a number of 18,12,113.

• Apart from these, a number of new links are provided in the Home Page having its details in inner pages from time to time according to the exigency of the issues involved.
